Bill Gordon

Welcome. I am a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, teacher / mentor and connector based in Stratford, CT. My wife, Noelle and I recently moved back to CT after 8 years in a combination of Portland, Oregon and Denver. We are very happy to be back home!

I have taken a position as a Venture Advisor in the CT Small Business Development Center (SBDC) which is connected to the University of Connecticut. That said we help entrepreneurs and companies statewide. Having served as a CEO, CFO and COO of a range of companies I enjoy sharing my experience. The most recent full time position I had started in 2019 as COO of a young medical device company in the Alzheimer’s disease therapeutic space. I built a talented team, raised two rounds of convertible notes, searched for and found a “been there, done that” CEO and found the right individual in my network to write a successful application for FDA Breakthrough Device status in under 3 months. In an unrelated move I recommended the same person to a friend in the Alzheimer’s disease diagnostic space and he was successful a second time, also in under 3 months.
